TN Superfine
Orange

Two different production processes :

Heat process
Solvent process

Impurity varies from :

0.5 to about 1%.

Specifications of Machine made Lemon Shellac, TN Shellac & Orange Shellac :

Essential Requirements	Matter Insoluble in hot alcohol	Basic Limit - 0.75%
	Matter Insoluble in hot alcohol	Relaxed Limit - 1.00%
	Color Index	12 Max.
	Rosin and Orpiment	Normaly Free from Rosin and Orpiment except when a specified percentage is agreed between buyer and seller.
Optional Requirements	Volatile Matter	Not more than 2%
	Wax	Not more than 4.5%
	Ash	0.3% (Max)
	Flow	As agreed between buyer & seller
	Heat Polymerisation	As agreed between buyer & seller usually at temperature of 150 degree cel.
	Matter Soluble in Water	0.5% (Max.)
	Acid Value	As agreed between buyer & seller
	Lead Content	As agreed between buyer & seller
	Iodine Value	As agreed between buyer & seller
