Handmade Shellac

We are engaged in Manufacturing and Exporting Handmade Shellac, which is made from converting seedlac by traditional handmade process. We offer Handmade Shellac in different grades to meet the requirements of the clients. Our Handmade Shellac is mostly exported to U.S.A., Germany, Japan etc.

Process :

Produced by properly blending Seedlac into long narrow cloth bag
Heating one end over charcoal fire and the other end is attached to a windless that is gradually twisted.
Heat produced by the charcoal fire melts the lac which is forced out through the cloth by pressure
Molten lac is scraped out and drawn into sheets manually and left to dry

Grades available are :

Lemon
Standard One
TN Superfine

Impurity varies from :

0.75% to 1.5%.

	Heat Polymerisation	As agreed between buyer & seller usually at temperature of 150 degree cel.
	Matter Soluble in Water	0.5% (Max.)
	Acid Value	As agreed between buyer & seller
	Lead Content	As agreed between buyer & seller
	Iodine Value	As agreed between buyer & seller
